IMPORTANT BOGUS BIRTHDAY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Post Editor has just received an anonymous tip from an unnamed informant who just happens to live in Clifton Heights and be Mamaw to Zoe McLaughlin.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
Justin McLaughlin was, in fact, NOT born on August 9th, but rather on January 2nd.
In light of this fact, the Birthday Inspectors have issued a recall on Wednesday, August 9th's erroneous announcement. This is not to say, however, that any birthday wishes already sent Justin's way by persons misled by the false announcement are subject to the recall. The issuer(s) of said birthday greetings shall not be considered to be at fault. The recipient is also permitted to retain them without being required to reimburse or redeem.
Again, this announcement replaces, supercedes, and otherwise nullifies the earlier announcement.
WARNING:
Do not assume that if you issued a premature August birthday greeting that a duplicate will not be expected in January. Unfortunately, that is just the nature of things. Fortunately, well-wishing is free, uncomplicated and enjoyable to do.
Anyone having information on the bogus birthdate is asked to call (573) HOT-TIPS to let the Post Editor know how this date got entered on the master calendar in the first place -- has this unfortunate error hijacked someone's legitimate birthday greetings?
