Iverson Update
(ABB Wire Service)
KANSAS CITY, MO – An epic journey to the desert southwest is a big focus for the Iverson Family as they prepare to head out May 27th, driving through Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and the tip of New Mexico, hitting the Grand Canyon, a lot of smaller national parks and other cool stuff. A full day has been reserved for visiting Mona in Las Vegas, and they'll return June 5th.
Andy entertains himself by creating comics and computer games. He recently took the high school ACT and did so well that he plans to skip high school all together and head straight to college this fall. (Just kidding!) However, his exceptionally high score made his parents quite proud of him. He turns13 next month and Lorraine reports feeling weird about having a teenager.
Shannon really enjoys her weekly drawing class. She wants to be an artist when she grows up, but it's a safe bet that she'll focus more on pottery (according to Miss Shannon – the best kind of art) than anything else.
Natalie shows real interest in dance. She insists on a daily viewing of her Barbie Nutcracker movie, dancing along with the computer generated snow fairies. When asked her name, her usually reply is: "I'm a ballerina!" Miss Natalie also entertains the family by intentionally passing gas at the dinner table where everyone is sure to hear it and laugh.
John and Lorraine have been having fun trying new martini recipes and have also discovered a great family game in the new big house: hide and seek! And finally, John has come up with a nifty way of saving hundreds of dollars a year at the gas pump: carpooling to work. Go, John!

Man, when I pass gass at the dinner table people don't laugh, they just leave in a hurry. Guess I should lay off the beans.
Nothing like potty humor on the family blog. I'm sure Grandma is so proud.
