Okay, I am a little unsure about this -- I am used to gesturing with my hands when I talk. But typing will most likely work best for this - eh ? I don't know if we can start a new strand of thought or simply add to the ones there. So I will learn as we go along. Howdy to everyone else.
 

I first saw the name Alzabees written on an envelope, dropped through my mail slot about ten years ago. It was the attempt by our neighbor (a wonderful gentleman from Eritrea) to spell Elizabeth. I have been in love with the name since that moment and I use it in many circumstances where either Elizabeth or Liz would be way too common, way too formal or they won't suffice to express how creative or silly I am feeling at the moment. The room in our home that we use for a guest room also has my sewing, jewelry creating and other areas. We have come to refer to this room as the Alzabees room. I pronounce it like Al (short for man's name Albert) za (like the last half of Liza) bees (just like it looks - like the things flying in and out of a hive). I actually have so much fun with my Alzabees name that I have toyed with the idea of changing it legally (yet I have not done the reasearch yet to get any steps taken in that direction). There you go - maybe more info. than you wanted. But that is my style. - love Alzabees
